Manya Saaraswat

Manya graduated from Bucknell University where she was a presidential fellow, captain of the Division I Cheerleading team, and a paid research assistant. Currently, Manya is a graduate student at Weill Cornell where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Economics. Manya has a passion for medicine and helping others; she began volunteering at local children’s hospitals when she was only fourteen. Since then, she has volunteered for various medical trips in both Africa and Asia. One day she hopes to become a pediatric surgeon who can provide healthcare to children in less privileged countries so that their lives will not be bounded by their inability to receive treatment.
